All consultations are by appointment only and can be made either by telephone or in person at the surgery during office hours. Non urgent medical queries or requests for appointments can be sent to the practice via our online consultation form. https://florey.accurx.com/p/C84692

Please ring after 10.00am to book an appointment unless you require to see a doctor urgently.

If your need is truly URGENT please make this clear to the receptionist; it is their responsibility to ensure your receive the most appropriate care.

Please let us know if you are unable to keep your appointment – all GP appointments have text reminders set up, so please register your mobile phone number with us, as appointments can be cancelled via the appointment reminders.

If you wish to speak to a doctor via the telephone, an appointment slot can be reserved and the doctor will call you back.

Please help to avoid delayed appointments by:

  • Making a separate appointment for each patient the doctor sees.
  • Telling the receptionist if your condition might take longer than usual.
  • Being punctual for your appointment.
  • Patients arriving 10 minutes or more late for an appointment will be politely asked to book another appointment.

The Practice is offering the facility for online booking of appointments with the GPs. Access is available via: https://account.patientaccess.com/

Book Online

Did you know you can book your appointment online?

Using online services makes it more convenient for people at our practice, as there’s no need to make a phone call or visit us. Computer, smartphone or tablet users can make or cancel an appointment at a time that suits them, even when the practice is closed.

If you are not already registered for GP online services please let a member of the practice team know you would like to use this service.

Non-urgent advice: Chaperones

If you require a chaperone for your appointment please ask at reception and this can be arranged.

Access to GP Appointments is Improving

GP practices in Bassetlaw are normally open from 8.00am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday

Some practices already open earlier or later than that on some days and may also provide services on a Saturday. They will continue to offer this to their patients.

From October 1st 2018 all patients in Bassetlaw will have access to some extra GP & Nurse appointments, during the evenings (6.30pm – 8pm) and at weekends.

Bassetlaw GP practices are working in partnership to deliver some of these evening and weekend appointments so you may be offered an appointment at a different surgery to your normal one.
