This e-mail can be used to direct questions to the Bassetlaw local covid vaccination sites (Retford Hospital, Larwood Surgery & Newgate Medical Group )

The email is regularly checked by a Bassetlaw GP practice who will forward your enquiry & you should receive a response within 48 hours

  1. Name
  2. A phone number you can be contacted on (or we will use your email)
  3. The GP practice you are registered at. (if you are not registered with a Bassetlaw GP practice it would be useful if you could indicate which vaccination site you wish to attend/question)

  • Skin changes

  • Face weakness or drooping / arm or leg weakness /speech difficulties

FLU CLINICS:

We are holding our Flu clinics at the surgery. If you are aged 65yrs and over or in one of the at risk categories please contact the surgery to book an appointment.

People who should have a flu jab

The injected flu vaccine is offered free of charge on the NHS to people who are at risk. This is to ensure they are protected against catching flu and developing serious complications.

You are eligible to receive a free flu jab if you: 

  • are 65 years of age or over   
  • are pregnant 
  • have certain medical conditions 
  • are living in a long-stay residential care home or other long-stay care facility 
  • receive a carer's allowance, or you are the main carer for an elderly or disabled person whose welfare may be at risk if you fall ill
